More progress shots of my project with Qwux! Here is a hairless cat!
Here is the backside of the leather (the side that resembles suede) with our template traced onto it.
Using the same technique as the dog mask; the back is clipped with bulldog clips to hold the creases in place, as the leather is gradually shaped and dried. **Pro Tip! Use extra leather scraps between the leather and the clip to avoid damage or staining to the surface.**
Voilà! The finished product, now ready for painting and a little plastic nose. Stay tuned for more pictures of goodies coming out of the studio!
