The Fold is a work made up of cotton thread, MDF and copper. It hangs from the ceiling , the copper base acting as a weight creating tension in the cotton thread.
This work explores the folding or containing of space through the manipulation of a the plane using cotton thread. The Fold focuses on the spacial relationship between a seemingly solid surface and the ethereal nature of empty space.
