Currently working and living in Sydney, Celine Roberts majored in Sculpture, Performance and Installation at the College of Fine Arts graduating with Honours in 2012.
Working through sculpture and installation, Celine explores body and identity politic through a process based experimentation of different mediums and materials. Fascinated with death and intimacy, the artist uses a wide range of techniques (predominantly women’s handy-crafts) to create sculptural installations that critique the status quo of everything weird and wonderful about sex, gender and femininity.
